Aspirina publishes an e-book collection, a unique mix of images and writing, humour and activism, art and politics. Here we experiment graphics, animation and interaction with the ePub3 format. Every e-book has its origin in the pleasure of shared work and from cooperation between editors, lay-out creators, illustrators, writers and cartoonists.
Aspirina magazine was born on paper in 1987, published by the Women’s bookstore of Milano. The subtitle “magazine for women of the feminine sex” makes it plain that one of its major aims was to satirize the equal opportunity politics and the ideology of equality. From 1989 to 1991 Aspirina’ s group edited the supplement “Sottosotto” for the monthly "Noi Donne". Here you can find ten issues of Aspirina in pdf format.
